Introduction
"We're all creative"- how often have you heard that?
Chances are, you didn't believe it. Unless you got lucky, and were sent to a
school where individuality and creativity were encouraged, your years of formal education
stomped your creativity and intuition right into the ground. Nevertheless, the little kid
that you once were, who saw elephants and dragons in puffy white clouds, and who squished
up her food in a fat little fist, is still there, inside you.
Creativity is a huge subject. Our ten-lesson course, "First steps in
practical creativity", has one simple aim: to encourage you to believe that
creativity is your legacy and your treasure, and that you can use it to improve your life,
wherever your life needs improving. Don't just read the lessons, do the exercises. I'll be
posting the lessons at the rate of one a month. If you enjoy the work, and feel that it's
